Description: Fast growing, upright, evergreen shrub native to Asia and adapted to Texas. New leaves are bronze then turn green. Older leaves will exhibit red fall color. Summer, greenish blooms attract butterflies and are followed by dark fall fruit that can be messy. Prefers alkaline soil. Often grown in a tree form as well.
