Description: Very fast growing, large single or multi trunked, tree native to east Texas riverbanks. Very heat tolerant and adaptable to different soil types. Peeling bark is cinnamon to salmon colored when young, turning reddish-brown as tree matures. Leaves are diamond shaped with lighter green on bottom than top. Fall foliage color is yellow.
