Description: A semi evergreen native to parts of Texas. The pinky white flowers somewhat resemble a crape myrtle and are slightly fragrant. Spring through fall flowers produce small red, tart edible berries popular with songbirds. Pollinators enjoy the blooms as well. The plant can tolerate most soils, but good drainage is a must. Drought tolerance once established. Use in habitat gardens and for screening small objects.
