Description: Adapted. Compact. Clumping. Finely textured; graceful arching canes; small, delicate leaves. Grows well in morning sun with afternoon shade, or full sun if given supplemental irrigation. Prune to open for airflow, show off culms or to top. Once established, it is drought-tolerant in shaded conditions but benefits from occasional watering in exposed areas. Winter mulch recommended, especially for young plants. In containers 6-8ft H, 3-4ft W. Ideal for screening and decorative borders.
