Description: Vase shaped, evergreen, strictly clumping, bamboo with interesting golden culms which can swell along the internodes, creating a "belly" look. Culms can reach 2.5 inches in diameter. Not strictly cold hardy in Austin area so best grown in containers or in areas where it can be protected.
