Description: Adapted. Fast growing. Clumping. Green-striped, golden-yellow culms; developing pink blush on new growth in cool weather. Upright, narrow form; gracefully arching canes; fine green foliage. Best in full sun with occasional deep watering. Tolerates partial shade. Can be topped to maintain height. Requires protection from hard freezes below 15F but typically recovers well with mulching and proper drainage. In containers 8-15ft H, 3-5ft W. Ideal for hedging, tall privacy screens, or narrow ornamental beds.
