Description: An herbaceous woody perennial like the Datura with large, night blooming, trumpet shaped, fragrant flowers. However, the flowers are pendulous, and the plant itself can be pruned to a small tree shape. In addition, the flowers can be in shades of white, yellow and pink, and are not followed by seed pods. The plant prefers moist and fertile soil and can be kept in a container with occasional root pruning and soil rejuvenation. Like the Datura, all parts of this plant are poisonous.
