Description: Cultivar. Wide, frosty silver-blue leaves edged in bold, jagged white teeth; tipped with a dark terminal spine. Powdery iced appearance. Compact, symmetrical rosette. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) and typically produces few or no offsets. Flower spike, at 10-20 years, may reach 10-14 feet tall. Pale yellow blooms attract pollinators. Tolerant of heat and drought but benefits from afternoon shade in hot or highly reflective sites. Requires sharp drainage, along with protection from hard freezes; prolonged winter wetness. Ideal for containers or prominent focal points in modern xeric gardens
