Description: Cultivar. Narrow, upright green leaves edged in creamy white to yellow margins; tipped with sharp spines. Loose, vase-shaped rosette. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) but produces numerous offsets, forming wide clumps over time. Flower spike, at 8-12 years, may reach 10-12 feet tall. Pale yellow to greenish blooms attract pollinators. Tolerant of heat and drought but benefits from afternoon shade in hot or highly reflective sites. Best with excellent drainage; benefits from protection during hard freezes. Well-suited for containers, borders, or colorful accents in tropical or xeric plantings.
