Description: Adapted. Narrow, dark green leaves adorned with curly white filaments and creamy white leaf margins. Dense rosette. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) but offsets abundantly forming colonies. Flower spike, at 10-15 years, can reach 6-12 feet tall. Creamy white to pale yellow flowers attract pollinators. Can benefit from afternoon shade. Drought tolerance once established. Requires well-drained soil; benefits from winter protection during hard freezes. Ideal for rock gardens, containers, and xeriscapes.
