Description: Cultivar. Soft arching blue-green leaves; distinct bud imprints; finely toothed margins. Open rosette; slightly more refined and consistent habit than species. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) but offsets prolifically, making it useful for massing or informal groupings. The flower spike, at 8-15 years, can reach 15-20 feet tall. Yellow blooms attract pollinators. Requires excellent drainage and shows good tolerance to both heat; occasional winter moisture. Suitable for native-inspired plantings and low-maintenance xeric gardens.
