Description: Evergreen, native to northeastern Mexico. Upright, green, and sharply spined leaves also show strong bud indentations.  At maturity, at least 10 years, plant produces yellow flowers from dark purple buds on stalks can reach up to 12ft high. Plant does not produce offsets.
