Description: Cultivar. Broad, gently arching blue-green leaves bordered by wide ivory-white margins. Leaf edges lined with small teeth; tipped with modest terminal spine. Soft but structured rosette. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) but offsets readily, forming attractive clumps. Flower spike, at 10-15 years, may reach 10-12 feet tall. Yellow blooms attract pollinators. Tolerant of heat and drought but benefits from afternoon shade in hot or highly reflective sites. Requires excellent drainage and winter protection in cold temps. Ideal for containers, borders, or refined xeric designs where contrast and form are desired.
