Description: Cultivar. Broad, glossy green leaves; margins lined with well-spaced teeth; terminate in a stout spine. Upright, vase-like rosette. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) and may produce a few offsets. The flower spike, at 10-20 years, can reach 20-25 feet tall. Yellow-green blooms attract pollinators. Heat; drought tolerant when established. Requires excellent drainage and protection from prolonged cold; wet conditions. Well-suited as a focal point in spacious xeric or architectural landscapes.
