Description: Compact ornamental cultivar. Frosty blue-gray leaves outlined in creamy white margins; tipped with a small spine. Leaves have smooth texture and a gentle curve. Symmetrical rosette. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) but offsets moderately. Flower spike, at 8-12 years, may reach 8-10 feet tall. Pale yellow blooms attract pollinators. Tolerant of heat; drought but benefits from afternoon shade in hot or highly reflective sites. Requires excellent drainage but benefits from winter protection. Well-suited for containers, borders, or small-scale xeric accents.
