Description: Adapted. Slow-growing; thick, dark green leaves edged in white markings; tipped with sharp spines. Tight, symmetrical rosette. Monocarpic (dies after blooming) but produces offsets occasionally. Flower spike, at 15-20 years, can reach 10-14 feet tall. Pale cream to white blooms attract pollinators. Extremely tolerant of heat, drought, and full sun with excellent drainage. Ideal for rock gardens, containers, or specimen use in minimalist or xeric designs.
