Description: An Evergreen cactus native to desert areas of the Southwest. Leaves are light blue-green or blue-gray, wide, thick and smooth, with spines along edges and tip. At maturity, about 10 to 25 years, plant produces pinkish red to golden flowers on stalks reaching as high as 20ft above the base. The main plant will die but produces offsets at the base.
