Description: Evergreen, native to many desert areas, including Texas. Leaves are blue-green or blue-gray, smooth, with spines along edges and tip. At maturity, around 10 to 25 years, yellow flowers will appear on stalks that can reach 10ft+ high above base. Main plant will die but normally produces small offshoots at the base. May tolerate a bit of morning shade and does well with reflected heat.
